Paradox Interactive, a publishing powerhouse, and Urban Games, the developer of the Transport Fever series, have announced a partnership for Transport Fever 3, which is set to release this year.
This partnership comes as both companies have a similar fanbase and develop games with their players in mind. Urban Games can now develop Transport Fever 3 with the expertise that Paradox Interactive brings, which benefits both companies.
Basil Weber, the Founder and CEO at Urban Games, shared thoughts about the partnership:
“We are delighted to partner with Paradox Interactive, a publisher that shares our core values and long-term vision. Together, we will continue on the path we have set for Transport Fever 3 and deliver the greatest possible value to the players, for which this partnership will have nothing but positive effects. We are honored to join forces with such a respected publisher, and Transport Fever 3 is now on an even stronger track to reach its full potential when it launches later this year.”
Mattias Rengstedt, CBO at Paradox Interactive, also shared excitement about the partnership with Urban Games:
“Transport Fever 3 is a perfect fit for the Paradox portfolio and we’re incredibly impressed by
what Urban Games has created in this series. The game matches every aspect of what we’re looking for in a new title, offering a deep and endless experience that we think players will love. We’re excited to take this important step for the series together with Urban Games and ship, haul, fly, and truck Transport Fever 3 across the world.”
This partnership pertains to Transport Fever 3, which is the next installment in the popular Transport Fever series. Players focus on building and creating transport empires in different environments, using all sorts of transportation vehicles to do so — in fact, there are over 250 buses, planes, ships, trains, trams, and even helicopters.
Transport Fever 3 is set to release this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can learn more about Transport Fever 3 on Simulation Daily, such as the curated mods program, player choices and the impact they’ll have on the game, the traffic system, and more.
