Urban Games has revealed a Curated Mods Program for Transport Fever 3, a new program that will gather mods from reputable creators that will be available on release.
The Curated Mods Program will feature mods for various parts of the game beyond just vehicles, as Transport Fever 3 is being developed to work with modding (and cross-platform support).
There are some modders who are a part of the program already, who have been working on the program since the beginning of the year. More modders are invited to join the program, though they have to apply and hit a few requirements (such as having well-rated and high-quality published mods, including 10 in past Transport Fever or similar titles, as well as at least 100,000 downloads across all their published mods).
This builds on the modding legacy that Transport Fever 2 has, which has over 15,000 individual mods in the Steam Workshop. Transport Fever 3 will feature an in-game mod hub and cross-platform mods, making modding even more accessible from the beginning.
More information on applying to be a modder in the Transport Fever 3: Curated Mods Program can be found here, including the application itself. Modders in the program will get early access to Transport Fever 3 to develop their mods, as well as a financial grant for their work.
Urban Games shared a first look at some of the mods that have already been created for the Curated Mods Program, which fans can check out below:
