Today, Konami announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2026, related to the period between April 2025 and March 2026.
We learn from the official documents provided by Konami that total revenue, business profit, operating profit, profit before income taxes, etcetera (basically all financial factors) recorded record highs for the third consecutive fiscal year, mainly driven by the strong performance of key games in the Digital Entertainment business.
Revenue was 493.7 billion yen, up 17.1% year-on-year. Business profit was 143.6 billion yen, up 31.6% year-on-year.
The specific results for the Digital Entertainment business, which includes games, esports, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, show revenue at 371.0 billion yen, up 21.5% yeah-on-year. Business profit was at 136 billion yen, up a massive 37.5% year-on-year.
This included continued expansion of the eFootball userbase, which reached one billion downloads in April. Konami also boasts strong repeat sales for series including Metal Gear and Silent Hill.

We also get the forecast for the current fiscal year, which will end in March 2027. For the whole company, Konami expects 505 billion yen in revenue (up 2.3% year-on-year) and 150 billion yen in business profit (up 4.5% year-on-year).
For the Digital Entertainment business, revenue is expected to increase a modest 0.3% year-on-year to 372 billion yen, while business profit is expected to grow by 1.5% to 138 billion yen.
