SCS Software revealed new work-in-progress screenshots of the upcoming British Columbia DLC, which will bring American Truck Simulator to Canada for the first time.
The DLC was announced for American Truck Simulator back in October 2025, and this is the first time that we get to see a bit more.
We hear that the biggest difference with the previous DLCs set in the US is how the terrain is dominated by mountains. The southern part of the DLC is more similar to the US, but the northern portion is distinctly Canadian.
You’ll also find many more bike lanes, which is likely something you’d never expect in American Truck Simulator.
The DLC will feature 130 new models created for cities and rural areas, and 40 assets created for depots and ferry terminals. Brands will also be different, with 14 new ones.
Interestingly, among these assets, you’ll find bear-resistant trash bins and dry toilets. Residential houses also feature heavily sloped roofs to counter the weight of snow.
There will also be new crash barriers, reflective posts, and road markings, wind machines to protect crops from freezing temperatures, and massive grain elevators.
You can check out the screenshots below.

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. An open beta of version 1.60 for PC is already available.
South Dakota is likely the next DLC, and we already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, cities, more Truck Stops, the road network, more settlements, even more towns, and Hot Springs.
The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC.
Then American Truck Simulator will return to the US with Indiana.
Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack (of which we also saw the Ford Crown Victoria, the Ford F-150, the Ford Mustang Fastback, and the Ford Bronco Badlands) and the Ram & Dodge Car Pack with the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
