Today, Skyhook Games has announced that Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 23, 2026.
Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 builds on the original with a new career mode focused on growing a lawncare business. Players will complete jobs across the United States, from residential lawns to commercial contracts, using licensed equipment from real-world brands.
Players can manage their business from a fully explorable headquarters, where they set up contracts, hire staff, maintain equipment, and expand their fleet. The new progression system offers more control over business growth and a wider range of jobs across multiple locations.

The grass system has been completely rebuilt, with each location featuring millions of individual blades, boasting different grass heights and density to provide a more realistic look and clearer feedback on optimal cutting height and mowing speed. Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 adds new leaf-clearing contracts, expanding gameplay beyond mowing, and letting players use leaf blowers to move and collect leaves, leaving properties clean after each job.
Locations will change between visits, adding variety to repeat assignments, with new features like flower beds, flagpoles, or pools can appear, creating new obstacles and requiring players to adjust their strategy. Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 will be playable at PAX West this weekend at booth 2218, and the booth will also offer a ride-on photo opportunity for attendees to recreate the game’s cover art.
The original Lawn Mowing Simulator has reached over 3 million players since launch. The sequel brings the series to the United States with new business management features. Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 is available to wishlist on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a playable demo now live on Steam.
