Today, American Truck Simulator developer SCS Software revealed another car that players will be able to drive in the upcoming Road Trip module.
This time around, it’s the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, one of the most iconic American muscle cars of modern times, although the developers don’t say just how far off the beaten path we’ll be able to go in the game. The developers stated that they are aiming for authenticity when creating the latest Road Trip expansion car.
It’ll be sold as part of the Ram & Dodge Car Pack, which will be separate from the Ford Car Pack that we have seen so far.
It’ll include the following:;
- 2025 RAM 1500 Pickup Truck – A rugged and reliable workhorse
- 1970 Dodge Charger – A timeless blend of muscle and heritage
- 1996 Dodge Viper – A sleek, aggressive machine built for speed
- 2023 Dodge Challenger – A modern high-performance icon
From the muscular exterior proportions to carefully crafted interior details, close attention is paid to materials, lighting, and overall authenticity to ensure the car feels believable and immersive, with its aggressive stance, widened bodywork, and unmistakable road presence.
The official post also included a gallery of pictures of the car in American Truck Simulator, which you can enjoy below:

As of now, SCS Software has not announced an official release date for the American Truck Simulator Road Trip module, which was originally announced in April 2025, though a late 2026 release window is expected. It is important to note that Road Trip is a separate, dedicated game module rather than standard DLC, designed to allow passenger-vehicle driving on the ATS map with a new slate of cars.
American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. The beta of version 1.59 for PC has just been launched.
While you wait for the launch of the American Truck Simulator Road Trip module, be sure to check out all the info we’ve got on other DLC coming to the game, including all the Illinois content, like its truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, Quincy, even more truck stops, Moline, Peoria, Champaign, the prairies, Bloomington, water bodies, more settlements, the Murals, East St. Louis, and the custom depots. You can also take a look at the first extensive gameplay showcase and the second.
