HoYoverse has released the details of Version 2.3 of Zenless Zone Zero, “Memories of Dreams Bygone,” revealing the new Agents, a spooky Halloween theme, new outfits, and more.
To start, players will journey to the Timesworn Hills with Spook Shack. This place is full of ghost stories and other perfectly-timed creepy fun, like abandoned ruins. A tale of missing miners sends the Proxies there to uncover the secrets of the area.
Spook Shak brings three new Agents with it: Lucia, Yidhari, and Komano Manato. Lucia is an S-Rank Ether Support Agent who uses a fan to create Ethereal specters. After entering a dream state, she can boost team damage and heal allies.
Yidhari is an S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent who gains offensive power the more max HP she has. As her HP drops in combat, she gains even more damage. Komano Manato is an A-Rank Fire Rupture Agent who also scales on max HP.
S-Rank Agents Vivian and Ju Fufu will also return in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3. Plus, Vivian and Manato will receive new outfits.
Additionally, Soldier 0 – Anby will be enhanced with better combat mechanics and performance.
Players can also look forward to a new gameplay mode, Threshold Simulation. This tasks Proxies with wiping out multiple squads in back-to-back situations.
As for events, Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 will include “When Dreams Remain Unfinished” and “Snap! Shining Strike.” By completing the turn-based combat mode in “When Dreams Remain Unfinished,” players can claim Komano Manato for free.
HoYoverse also let fans in on three upcoming Agents: Banyue, Dialyn, Zhao, and Ye Shunguang. Plus, to thank fans, those who log in to the game during Version 2.3 can claim an extra 600 Polychromes with the regular version rewards (10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons).

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 will be released on October 15, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile devices (iOS and Android). If you’re just hopping back into the game, be sure to check out Version 2.2 and Version 2.1.
