Today, Gryphline has announced that its Arknights: Endfield Dreamscape of Wind and Snow update will launch on September 2, 2026.
Arknights: Endfield Dreamscape of Wind and Snow was officially revealed during the latest Version Preview livestream. It will introduce Typhoeus, a familiar Operator from the original Arknights, alongside a new story set in the supernatural Snowy Forest near Yinglung Pass.
Typhoeus is an icefield huntress from Rhodes Island who searches for Sami legends and stories, and in the new update, she travels to the Snowy Forest, where she meets the Endministrator and Chief Engineer Andre. The group becomes trapped by an enchanted fog that causes travelers to lose their way.
Players will face the new regional boss, Gloomwald’s Rage, as they explore the forest and uncover its secrets. Typhoeus joins the Endfield roster as a Nature Striker, using a large bow and aerial mobility to attack multiple targets and avoid ground attacks, while her Barrage Array slows enemies and combines traps with Nature Burst damage.
Arknights: Endfield Dreamscape of Wind and Snow will also introduce a new musical direction inspired by Sámi culture, blending Nordic folk traditions with JRPG influences and electronic production. Finnish electronic musician Vilma Jää, known for her work on Control Resonant, collaborated with the development team to create a Nordic folk-electronic theme for the Snowy Forest.
Starting September 24, 2026, players can access Suiming, a new puzzle map with a repeating 15-minute time loop. As the city’s tides change, new streets and routes open, letting players collect components to repair the Waking Bell before the Blight Tide.
When the tide rises, the environment resets, but players keep collected parts and gather clues and fragments of Suiming’s history over multiple loops to solve the city’s mysteries. The Purrchena Tribute Event also begins on the same date, letting players recruit Purrchena and get her recommended weapon, Dessert Moment, for free.
Purrchena is a Physical Defender who shields teammates and uses gift boxes to heal and support allies, and completing all six event missions gives enough copies to maximize the Potential of both Purrchena and Dessert Moment. The update also adds Trial of the Bow, Chubby Lung Attacks, Runners’ Steeplechase, new Echoes of War seasons, and more player-experience improvements.
Gryphline confirmed that Arknights: Endfield will launch on Steam, and players can wishlist the game now. The PC and console release expands the franchise beyond mobile, combining exploration, real-time combat, strategy, and base-building with a new storyline.
“Seeing that you’re enjoying the current content and looking forward to the journey ahead is our greatest encouragement,” said Light Zhong, Co-Founder and Game Producer. “Moving forward, we will continue to develop, optimize and bring more new stories, gameplay and content worth exploring so that we live up to your trust and expectations.”
As of February 1, 2026, players had laid down a cumulative 42,195,240,313 meters of power transmission lines. Together, they’ve also repaired 23,271,228 shared facilities (with the Easy Stash facility in The Hub of Vallery IV being the most popular with 4,342,952 repairs).
