Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG) still doesn’t have a payware version for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or MSFS 2020.
Yet, several developers have announced their own rendition, but the scale and challenge represented by the massive European hub already caused Aerosoft to throw in the towel.
Yet, today another challenger has entered the ring, with iniBuilds announcing its own rendition and showing the single screenshot that you can see above.
According to the developer, its team “already completed a significant amount of research covering the airport’s layout, terminal architecture, airside infrastructure and wider environment.”
This immediately caused another competitor to change its plans, with Azrsim announcing on its Discord server that its previously announced LFPG is canceled. Besides the announcement, they had not shown any screenshot or render of the airport.
On the other hand, Pilot Experience Sim, which has been working on Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, issued a press release expressing disappointment at the decision by a partner (as PES sells its airports on iniBuilds’ own store) to compete against their product, but also vowing to keep going and to deliver the best version of the airport.
“Today, iniBuilds announced Paris-CDG (LFPG) for MSFS 2024.
As creators, we regret that a direct partner chooses to compete head-on on a project of this scale. It’s unfortunate, but that’s market reality, and we fully accept it.
Rest assured: our development of Paris-CDG continues with unchanged determination.
We bring unique strengths to this project:
• Strong local presence: Our French team knows the area inside out with direct access to the site.
• Unprecedented detail: We work with hundreds of gigabytes of ultra-precise references gathered on-site.
• Long-term support: CDG is constantly changing. Our local presence guarantees regular updates to match real-world evolution. Our goal remains unchanged: to offer the most beautiful, detailed, best-optimized, and faithful Paris-CDG scenery ever made for MSFS 2020 & 2024.”
The developer also released a batch of screenshots showing the progress made on its rendition of the airport.

At the moment, neither version of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has a release date. That being said, a distinguishing factor between the two is that iniBuilds’ version will be only for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Pilot Experience Sim’s version will also be compatible with MSFS 2020.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is currently available for PC, Xbox, and PS5.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is available for PC and Xbox.
