If you’re unfamiliar with Battleship Command, it’s a solo development project by a single developer, and it has been in development for a while. It has recently been made available on Steam in early access.
It places the player in control of a Scharnhorst-class fast battleship tasked to bring down the fist of the Kriegmarine on Allied shipping during World War II. If you’d like to see more, we already saw plenty of gameplay, the Quick Scenario Editor, and a full mission.
Recently, a publishing deal has been struck with MicroProse, which has taken the game under its wide umbrella of simulation goodness, which includes games like Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, Task Force Admiral – Vol.1: American Carrier Battles, and many more.
