Seed Sparkle Lab has added new dating interactions in Starsand Island Version 0.4.9868, giving players a new way to connect with some of their favorite characters.
Now, new dating interactions like actually going on a date are available for some of the romanceable NPCs. After reaching a certain Affection level, players can go on dates and dive deeper into the personalities and stories behind the characters (which also unlock new cutscenes).
These are available for six of the bachelors/bachelorettes: the five mentors (Delphin, Zerine, Graminova, Zephyria, and Pastelle) and Solara. Future updates will bring these interactions to the other romanceable characters.
Starsand Island is all about living out your fantasy island life, and these new interactions help immerse players even further into that world. The game is still in early access, so there’s plenty to come (including the stretch goals that were hit after the game pulled in 295% of its Kickstarter goal).
It’s also got a crossover with My Time at Portia, another popular farming/life sim, bringing two iconic characters into the world of Starsand Island.
Starsand Island is currently available on PC and Xbox Series X|S in early access, but it’s planned to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. Seed Sparkle Lab has already been listening to the community and is receptive to feedback, addressing problems as they pop up.
