Today, Imperfect Games announced the release date for its highly anticipated indie action-RPG Lunarium, which is set to arrive on PC (Steam) later this month, on July 29, 2026.
Lunarium will send players on a journey across the dying world where two young heroes must uncover ancient secrets to save their homeland from collapse. Players will be able to control these dual protagonists in battles that center around perfectly timed parries and dodges that bolster attacks and crippling creatures with powerful enchantments.
Our heroes are Ave, a light-armored knight specializing in close-range sword combat, and Lune, a girl with mysterious magical abilities. Together, they travel across multiple worlds, battling dangerous enemies while searching for the truth behind Lunarium’s decline and their own destinies.

Ave serves as the party’s frontline fighter, using dodges, parries, and precise sword strikes to defeat enemies. Lune provides support by weakening opponents, enhancing Ave’s attacks, and using magic to overcome environmental obstacles.
Players can customize Ave’s combat style through several progression systems. The Cloak System offers cosmetic changes alongside unique combat abilities, while the Embroidery System allows players to equip passive enhancements that complement different playstyles. A skill tree further expands character progression.
The adventure takes players through abandoned temples, ruined kingdoms, and churches covered in dark mist. Each area features distinct environments, terrain, and combat encounters, encouraging players to learn new mechanics and explore carefully as they advance.
There is no word on whether the title will come to consoles at this time. For more information on this and other upcoming indies, like Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle and Drunkn Goddess Reflux, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
