Bracer and MicroProse announced that the upcoming warship simulator Battleship Command has a release date for its upcoming early access phase.
It’ll launch for PC on Steam on June 2, 2026.
The early access phase will include single missions, the quick scenario editor, and the full mission editor.
The developer plans to add a lot of features and content in the short and mid-term, while the final crown jewel of the game will be the campaign, which is expected by the end of the year.
You can check out a trailer celebrating the release date reveal for Battleship Command.
We also have a roadmap for the early access of Battleship Command, listing what you can expect for the long, mid, and short term. Considering that the game is created by a solo developer, it’s certainly already impressive, but it’s great to see that more is coming.

If you’re unfamiliar with Battleship Command, it’s a solo development project by a single developer, and it has been in development for a while.
It places the player in control of a Scharnhorst-class fast battleship tasked to bring down the fist of the Kriegmarine on Allied shipping during World War II. If you’d like to see more, we already saw plenty of gameplay, the Quick Scenario Editor, and a full mission.
Recently, a publishing deal has been struck with MicroProse, which has taken the game under its wide umbrella of simulation goodness, which includes games like Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, Task Force Admiral – Vol.1: American Carrier Battles, and many more.
