Seed Sparkle Lab has revealed it’s gearing up for the multiplayer test for Starsand Island, and it’s opening up applications for players who want to take part in it.
Players will need to register in groups of two to four players to take part in the multiplayer test. Groups will only need to submit one form, and test slots are limited, so not every group that applies will get access to the test.
Multiplayer has been one of the key features that’s been discussed since before the game was in early access. For example, Seed Sparkle Lab shared that vehicles with space for multiple characters can include a friend in multiplayer.
Additionally, in an interview with Simulation Daily, Creative Director Richardo Wang explained that multiplayer in Starsand Island is focused on sharing fun experiences with friends. This can look like farming, exploring, fishing, or even just running around together.
Groups can fill out the Starsand Island multiplayer test sign-up form here. As of right now, there’s no word on when multiplayer will launch for everyone, but the test is a good sign that it’s coming soon.
Starsand Island is currently available in early access on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Players can get it for 30% off right now on Steam as part of the G-Fusion Game Festival 2026 Shenzhen.
