Today, Dotemu and Triskell Interactive unveiled a detailed look at Theos: Cities of Myth, its city-building and management game inspired by the classic builders of the 2000s.
The new trailer showcases how players will construct flourishing cities dedicated to one of seven Olympian gods of Ancient Greece. Every settlement begins with The Sanctuary, the seat of the chosen god’s power and the central hub around which the city develops.
Players manage every aspect of their civilization, from supply networks and citizen satisfaction to upgrading structures. Theos: Cities of Myth also introduces improved control over walking units as they patrol and support the city, addressing common frustrations from classic city builders.

Divine approval is just as important as keeping citizens happy, as players can fulfill the demands of gods such as Ares and Athena to earn blessings and boons or attract legendary figures, including philosophers like Socrates and Aristotle. Neglecting a god’s desires can bring divine wrath capable of devastating even the most prosperous settlement, so tread carefully.
Theos: Cities of Myth expands on traditional city management with military and economic systems. Players can build armies for defense or conquest in real-time battles, and develop trade networks to grow a small settlement into a commercial empire.
Successful cities can also attract legendary heroes who provide powerful bonuses, giving players another incentive to balance urban planning, citizen satisfaction, and divine favor.
The simulator includes both a campaign adventure and a sandbox mode, offering dozens of hours of gameplay in a mythological version of Ancient Greece. Triskell Interactive is also bringing back the building tools from Pharaoh: A New Era, letting players design everything from large temples to individual paths.
Theos: Cities of Myth is set to launch on PC later this year. For more information on this and other upcoming city-builders and strategy sims, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
