Today, Dovetail Games revealed it is rolling out a new Train Sim World 7 update, introducing several improvements and fixes based on player feedback across multiple routes and trains.
One of the main additions in the newest Train Sim World 7 update is new audio for the DB BR 412 ICE 4 and the previously missing “Führerraum besetzt” and “Schließvorgang eingeleitet” announcements. Other new features include brake-level clicking, additional hissing effects, external air conditioner audio, and compressor sounds for other trains when driving the ICE 4. Several cab controls also have missing audio, while the LZB audio and various localization elements have been updated.
The Train Sim World 7 update also addresses an issue that caused some Early Access players to lose their custom liveries and scenarios in the Creators Club. Additional core fixes include camera speed and rotation settings not saving between sessions, custom scenarios incorrectly defaulting to Guard Mode, an overly bright loading screen, overlapping HUD elements, and cases where the PlayStation 5 in-game store appeared empty.
Beginner Controls have also received several quality-of-life improvements, including a fix for crashes when using the controls with Thomas, functional HUD icons when using a mouse and keyboard, new hotkey shortcuts, and clearer wording explaining where Beginner Controls can be used.
Airedale & Wharfedale has received fixes for the Class 331 HVAC system, Class 801 pantograph settings and onboard announcements, along with an issue that could hold players at a red signal outside Shipley during the Class 801/2 service 1D19. Nürnberg – Würzburg has also received numerous fixes covering German characters, PZB, ATB, and LZB systems, signals, magnets, scenery, station assets, and localization.
On the Tri-Rail Florida route, the update fixes several issues involving Beginner Controls, signals, and level crossings, like the crossings near Fort Lauderdale and other locations where vehicles were not stopping correctly. Additional fixes address the BL36PH cab display, controller door controls, scenery assets, and other localization issues, while the Tri-Rail GP49H-3 has received further localization updates.
The newest Train Sim World 7 update is expected to reach players across supported platforms today, although some systems may take up to 24 hours to receive the changes. Certain platforms may also download the update automatically while in standby mode.
Train Sim World 7 is available now on Steam for $49.99, and already features DLC, like the Tadami Line route. For more information on this and other add-ons, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
