Today, Astragon and Simteract released the official demo for the next chapter of the Bus Simulator franchise, Bus Simulator 27.
Bus Simulator 27 is playable for the first time today with the release of a demo version to celebrate Steam Next Fest, letting fans get a first look at the upcoming simulation title via a fresh look at the all-new regions, officially licensed buses, and a first taste of the franchise’s expanded city and intercity driving experience.
You can take a good look at the official overview demo trailer for yourself below:

The demo includes an introductory mission designed to teach the fundamentals of bus driving. After completing this tutorial, you’ll be able to drive through Medina, a Mediterranean city featuring not only a scenic beachfront promenade but also a stunning historic old town, allowing players to take the wheel of the new Solaris Urbino for the first time in the series.
In addition to the city route, players can also serve the new intercity routes. Behind the wheel of the new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, players can explore the beautiful scenery and landscapes of the Felicia Bay map.
If you’re unfamiliar with Bus Simulator 2027, it was announced by Astragon in February and is being developed by Simteract, which is best known for Taxi Life. The previous title, Bus Simulator 21, was highly successful, with more than 7 million players having stepped behind the wheel since its release in 2021.
Bus Simulator 27 launches on September 8, 2026, for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information on this and other bus sims, like Bus Bound, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
