Dangen Entertainment has announced a console release date for their upcoming game Kingdom of Night. The 80s-inspired isometric action RPG will launch on November 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Kingdom of Night, which released on PC back in December 2025 by developer Friends of Safety, takes place in 1987 in a small town in which a satanic cult summons the ancient evil Baphomet, sending the town into chaos. Players control a young man named John who must set out on an adventure to fight back against the demons and rescue his friends.
Players can choose from five distinct classes, customize their abilities, and battle nightmarish creatures as they collect gear and battle lairs of demon lords. There is a local co-op mode for players to team up with a friend to make use of different character classes at the same time.
There are a few perks in the upcoming console versions of the game. Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S players can preorder the game with a 10% discount ahead of launch. PlayStation 5 players have the option of purchasing the exclusive Kingdom of Night – Midnight Edition, which includes 25 PSN avatars based on characters in the game.

The game has received praise for its atmospheric fusion of 1980s nostalgic, supernatural horror, pixel art world, open exploration, and character customization.
