Today, Astragon and Simteract announced the release date of the next chapter of the Bus Simulator franchise, Bus Simulator 27.
The game will launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 8, 2026.
Incidentally, pre-orders are open, and those who reserve their copy will receive a bonus Deluxe Pack. This includes two buses (HESS lighTram 12 Plug and Alexander Dennis Enviro 100EV) and four exclusive bus skins.
To celebrate the announcement, we get a trailer showing off one of the major new features of the simulator, coach buses, which will be introduced alongside staples of this kind of transportation, the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, the Scania Irizar i8, and the MAN Lion’s Coach.
You can watch it below and enjoy a look at how players will be able to explore the expansive region of Felicia Bay while driving a coach bus.
The season pass for the first year has also been announced, including another coach bus coming in September 2028 (the Mercedes-Benz Intouro), a Bus Pack in December 2026, a cosmetic pack in February 2027, a Cabin Customization Pack in March 2027, a Bus Pack in May 2027, and a major expansion dedicated to the coach company Flixbus in July 2027.
You can see it all recapped in the infographic below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Bus Simulator 2027, it was announced by Astragon in February. It’s developed by Simteract of Taxi Life fame.
The franchise itself is quite storied, having been around since 2008, although its most active developer has moved on to the recently released Bus Bound.
