TA-4J Skyhawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Development Update

A flight simulation scene: Microsoft Flight Simulator Skyhawk

Indiafoxtecho released new screenshots and a development update for the TA-4J Skyhawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

– We have completed the modifications/corrections to the cockpit we wanted to do, and we are moving forward with the updated texturing (screenshots are WIP). There are still some minor modifications to do, however, as we spotted other small inaccuracies.

The (realistic) navigation system is in place… and YES, you will have to enter the coordinates with the knobs, and manage the navigation error depending on doppler radar states, magvar etc. (but we will add an option to use it “like a GPS” in case you do not want to)

Cockpit interactions are *almost* complete (but some more work is needed)

Flight model is in place, but we do not like crosswind behavior too much, so we are tweaking it.

As for all of our projects, it is ready when it is ready – release date will depend on how quickly we will be able to address the issues above and complete the missing features, but it is not far away in the future.

Venice Airport Announced for MSFS 2024

Aerosoft announced on Discord the next airport from the Jo Erlend Sund and Lukas Vezyroglou pair, and it’s Venice Marco Polo Airport (LIPZ).

No further details have been shared besides the screenshots above, but it’s worth mentioning that this is a completely separate project from the one recently announced by Atelic.

Considering the quality of both developers involved, it may be a real challenge to pick one.
