The gaming industry has delivered some more gaming news today, including headlines about Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, All Rats on Deck, and Loftia.

Here at Simulation Daily, we publish roundups with more gaming news that couldn’t be covered in individual articles to keep you up to date with the work and games from a wider variety of developers than we otherwise could.

Take a look at some of the headlines from today’s news.

Civilization VII Update 1.5.1 Arrives Next Week

Firaxis Games has shared that Sid Meier’s Civilization VII update 1.5.1 will be arriving the week of November 9. It will make changes to a variety of gameplay systems.

One change is Liberation, where players can return captured settlements to their original founders and improve relationships with them. There will be new map types, like the new Randomized Earth map with generated terrain and a choice between historic and randomized start locations.

There will be a rework to Great People; players will be able to access them through unique unlock conditions. Finally, there will be UI improvements, such as a new Unit List and Map Search panels.

Full 1.5.1 patch notes will be released alongside the update when it arrives next week.

Lofia Out Now in Early Access

Qloud’s multiplayer life sim Loftia has launched in early access today on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The highly anticipated game allows players to connect with friends to farm, craft, explore, decorate, and build a world together.

Loftia has been in development for four years after a $1.3 million Kickstarter campaign, and it won Most Anticipated Game at this year’s Cozy Game Awards earlier this year in May.

To celebrate the early access release, Qloud announced it is partnering with environmental nonprofit One Tree Planted; a percentage of profits made from players who purchase One Tree Planted content in Loftia will be donated to the organization.

Lofia will be 17% off for the first two weeks of its early access period as an introductory offer.
