Twin Beacon Studio and publisher Loopr Partners have announced a new online co-op adventure called All Rats on Deck. In the game, up to four players take on the role of rat buddies who must work together to operate a steamboat, navigate obstacles, gather resources, and keep the engine running as they cross dangerous waters.
All Rats on Deck is about a group of rats who have been forced to leave their home. They must use scraps and loose parts to put together a makeshift steamboat with the goal of reaching the open ocean. Players take whatever resources they can find to keep the boat’s engine fueled. The boat also has a grapple gun, which allows the group to interact with the world as they navigate the waters.
Like many other popular cooperative games, All Rats on Deck will feature proximity voice chat so that players can communicate with each other as they work together, which is a key part of surviving the dangerous trip. Players may decide to discuss and carefully coordinate their next moves, or alternatively, they can improvise with the steamboat and push it beyond its limits.

While there’s no set release date yet, you likely won’t have to wait too long; All Rats on Deck is set to release on PC during Q4 2026. For now, you can wishlist the game on Steam to keep up with information on its release.
