The gaming industry has delivered some more gaming news today, including headlines about Pikmin 4, The Wardrobe 2, and Duck Side of the Moon.

Take a look at some of the headlines from today’s news.

Pikmin Day Direct Reveals Details On Game Expansion and Demo

Nintendo has declared November 1 to be Pikmin Day, and in doing so hosted a special Pikmin Day Direct on their YouTube channel. The biggest piece of news shared was a new trailer for Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, which will be releasing on November 12.

In Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, which is an expansion to the base game, players can give voice commands to Oatchi using the Switch 2’s microphone, and there is a new mode to take on challenges collecting treasure each week.

There is also a demo coming on November 2 for players to try out the first area, Sun-Speckled Terrace, as well as two stages of Dandori Academy.

The Wardrobe 2 Announced, Jabs at Gaming Industry Woes

Cinic Games has announced a Kickstarter for The Wardrobe 2, a sequel to their 2017 point-and-click adventure game. The Wardrobe 2 features Skinny, a sarcastic skeleton, with the promise of a more cinematic, nonconformist experience than the first game.

The Wardrobe 2 is planned to be partly a love letter to classic point-and-click adventures and partly a jab at large AAA publishers.

Cinic Games is relying on fan support to bring the game to life through backing the project on Kickstarter. You can watch the reveal trailer below and check out the Kickstarter campaign right here.

Duck Side of the Moon Coming to PS5, Free Update Coming Same Day

Starbrew Games has announced that Duck Side of the Moon, a cozy open-world exploration and crafting adventure, will be coming to PlayStation 5 on November 17. Furthermore, a free update called Homegrown is coming to the game the same day.

In Duck Side of the Moon, players take on the role of Doug the duck on a cosmic adventure centered around relaxation with no combat or death. In the Homegrown update, players can plant seeds, tend to crops, and decorate their spaceship.

You can watch the Homegrown update and PS5 announcement trailer below. The game is also available now on Steam.
