Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software announced the release date of the Coaches expansion, while also showcasing another look at Iceland.
The expansion, which will add tourist coaches and all the related mechanics to the simulator, will release on PC via Steam on November 12.
It’ll include the following coaches:
- Scania Touring
- Volvo 9700 DD
- MAN Lion’s Coach
You can check out a trailer and a set of screenshots below.

We also get to see the ferries that will bring you to Iceland from a variety of European ports.
You’ll be able to go from Hirtshals in Denmark to Seyðisfjörður, from Rotterdam’s Europoort in the Netherlands to Þorlákshöfn, and from Ålesund in Norway to Seyðisfjörður.
On top of that, Iceland will be the first location with new transparent water technology, which will be added gradually to the game’s world.
You can check out a few screenshots below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have recently been announced.
The Iceland DLC is the next to be released, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, Keflavík, the fjords, Akureyri, the bridges, and plenty of gameplay.
Further national DLCs announced focus on Ireland (of which we also saw a few screenshots, an iconic road, and Cavan) and on Turkey.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, and the next rework focuses on the UK, including the Stonehenge area, Inverness, and Bristol.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, the Volvo 9700 Double Decker, the first gameplay, the new vehicle features, how to purchase coaches and take on jobs, how to switch modes, tourist jobs, and gameplay of the Scania Touring.
