Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including an aircraft, an airport, and an interesting animal-themed add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.

F-22 Raptor Released for MSFS 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Raptor

Top Mach Studios released its F-22 Raptor for MSFS 2024. It’s available on the official marketplace for €39.69.

According to the developer, compared to the MSFS 2020 version, this is “an almost entirely new aircraft module for Microsoft Flight Simulator, built from the ground up to deliver a significantly more immersive, authentic, and capable Raptor experience.”

For now, it’s only available for PC, but an Xbox release is expected to come in the coming weeks, and a PS5 version will follow afterward.

Man’s Best Friend: Deluxe Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

GotFriends released its Man’s Best Friend: Deluxe add-on that will let you bring along one of many animal companions with you on your flights.

It’s available on the developer’s own store and Contrail for $10.20, for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020. It has also been submitted to the official marketplace, where it’ll also be available for Xbox.

It includes the following features:

  • Massive Collection of More Than 40 Animal Types
  • 3+ Unique Variants for Each Animal Type, Providing Over 127 Companions
  • Custom Avitar Nest Positioning System Accessible from the In-Game Top Bar and in VR
  • Six-Axis Placement Controls for Position, Tilt, Lean, and Direction
  • Newly Detailed 3D Models with High-Quality Custom Textures
  • Unique, Smooth Idle Animations Designed Specifically for Each Companion
  • Native Integration with the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Copilot System
  • Automatic Position Saving for Every Individual Aircraft Variant
  • Flexible Placement Inside or Outside Any Aircraft
  • Dedicated Selection Thumbnails for Every Included Companion
  • Designed for Everyday Flying, Exploration, and Cinematic Photography
  • Visible Cockpit Copilot Support on Compatible Aircraft, Subject to Individual Aircraft Developer Implementation

Native Santorini International Airport for MSFS 2024 Released

29Palms Scenery Design released a native version for MSFS 2024 of Santorini International Airport (LGSR)

It’s available on Contrail for $20.88. It’ll be available on Orbx Direct, Aerosoft, and Simmarket tomorrow.

It includes the following features.

  • The renovated Main Terminal building with its interior. The interior has a full walkthrough capability.
  • The new Fire Station.
  • The fuel facilities (EKO & GISSCO) in high detail.
  • The new apron layout with its relevant parking positions.
  • Highly detailed light poles, FOD bins, apron vehicles and other objects.
  • Highly detailed airport arrivals and departures parking area.
  • Custom windsocks, antennas, VOR, taxi and runway signs, taxi and runway lights.
  • Two abandoned aircraft, close to the threshold of RWY 15
  • Highly detailed military area including camouflaged shelters, buildings, contact cars and container boxes.
  • St Paraskevi’s church, a small church located on the south-eastern part of the airport, just outside its perimeter
  • The whole airport area is illuminated with dynamic lights (no night textures used)
