Synaptic Simulations announced that its highly anticipated Airbus A220 will be released next week for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.
Initially, it’ll be available on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 marketplaces, and it’ll come for Xbox on top of PC (although we’ll see next week whether the console release will be simultaneous).
The aircraft, which has been completed in collaboration with iniBuilds, has actually been in development for a very long time. The project was originally announced as freeware in December 2020.
Now, almost six years later, we’re finally one week away from its highly-anticipated release.
The level of simulation details appears to be very high, with pretty much all of the advanced features of the Airbus A220 simulated in-depth, which means that it’s mostly aimed at enthusiast simmers.
You can check out an overview of the aircraft showing an entire flight and more in the video below.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is currently available for PC, Xbox, and PS5. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is available for PC and Xbox only.
