Today, another festival has launched on Steam, and it’s the Cyberpunk Fest, dedicated to all sorts of games inspired by Cyberpunk, Blade Runner, and similar dark future universes.
It runs for a week and ends on August 10, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it.
Like all themed “fests” on Steam, it comes with deep discounts on many games belonging to the genre.
Of course, CD Projekt RED leads the augmented parade with a whopping 70% discount on Cyberpunk 2077, 60% on the Ultimate Edition, and 40% on the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion.
Other deeply discounted games are Robocop: Rogue City, with its price sliced by 90%, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut discounted by 85%, Ninja Gaiden 4 discounted by 40%, and many, many more.
You can find the full list on Steam and take your pick; there is a lot on the menu, and a lot of these games are great, so you won’t need any augmentations to stomach them.
You can also get a taste of the lineup in the trailer below, released to celebrate the event.
Plenty of the games part of the festival have demos available, so you can also try them out before you commit to a purchase.
If you’re unfamiliar with Steam’s festivals, they happen pretty often on Valve’s popular PC digital distribution platform to celebrate a specific genre.
They go from fishing to city building, visual novels, cooking, idlers, Horror, and more. They have become rather common as of late, often organized by the developers and publishers themselves.
They’re a good way to check out games you may not be aware of, especially while we wait for the popular Steam Next Fest, which tends to cover a much wider range of titles.
The next known festival will be the Pins & Pegs Fest from August 17 to August 20, followed by the PvE Survival Crafting Fest from August 31 to September 7.
