First of all, we learn from the documents revealed by the company that the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty has passed 10 million units sold in the 20 months since its release in September 2023.

Of course, sales are destined to grow further, as Cyberpunk 2077 will soon launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

We also hear that Cyberpunk 2 (which was previously codenamed “Project Orion”) has wrapped up its concept phase now entered the pre-production phase of development.

Another massive sales milestone was achieved by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which has now passed 60 million copies sold.

As usual, we also get a good look at the sizes of the teams working on CD Projekt RED’s various games, compared to previously announced figures.

CD PRojekt RED Teams

As you can see, both the teams for The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 have increased in size, albeit not by much, compared to three months ago.

The total revenue from the game and its expansions on all platforms has passed 2.4 million PLN, which translates approximately into $639 million.

As for the actual financial results for Q1, 226,305,000 PLN, which is essentially flat year-on-year. Net profit was 86,003,000 PLN, down 14% year-on-year.

If you’d like to compare these results with historical data, you can read our report about the previous quarter, based on data released by CD Projekt in March.

Other gaming companies have also already announced their financial results this quarter, including Koei Tecmo, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Nintendo, Bandai Namco, Konami, Marvelous Entertainment, Sega, Capcom, Sony, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Shift-Up, Take-Two, and Embracer.
