Road Studio has detailed its physics system for Road Truckers: New Beginning, which was created to be as responsive as possible.
When Road Truckers: New Beginning is released, players will go to the Driving School, which acts as the simulator’s tutorial.
There, players will notice that every bump causes the truck’s axles to work, which can also be felt when in first-person view.

There are different suspension types that can be changed at a workshop, living up to the RPG elements that Road Studio added. These help balance the intensity that hitting the bumps creates in the cabin, giving players a way to customize them if they’re too extreme.

As for physics in the world, there are plenty of things that players can move realistically with their truck or the players themselves when they get out of the truck (for example, the hilariously overdone physics of traffic cones in the beta, which look like they’ve been corrected).

Of course, the objects that a truck can push around and the objects a human can push around are a bit different. The idea behind this, according to Road Studio, is to add even more immersion to the simulator.

Road Truckers: New Beginning is set to release on PC and PlayStation 5 in Q2 2026.
