Today, Dovetail Games detailed its June 2026 plans for its hit locomotive simulator, Train Sim World 6
The Train Sim World 6 June 2026 roadmap highlights the release of the massive West Coast Main Line (WCML) Trent Valley route, structural core game updates, and add-ons currently in active development.
To start, the West Coast Main Line Trent Valley: Milton Keynes–Crewe expansion is being developed by All Aboard Studios and is set to launch on June 9, 2026, across consoles and PC platforms. The new add-on features 108 miles of tracks, making it the largest point-to-point British line yet added to the simulator.

The main line allows players to operate modern high-speed services, including Avanti West Coast’s Evero and Class 350 trains. It can go up to 125mph, and the route traces a railway corridor originally opened in 1847 to provide a faster connection between London and North West England while bypassing Birmingham.
Next up, Train Sim World 6 will update its UK core content on June 16, 2026. This update adds improvements for the Riviera Line, WCML South, and Medway Valley Line, as well as Alan Thomson Simulation (ATS) Class 90 fixes and Expert DB BR 145 adjustments.
The next two weeks, June 23 and June 30, also see enhancements and optimization updates. The former is for the Morristown Line, San Bernardino Line, Fife Circle, and Edinburgh – Glasgow, while the latter improves Leipzig – Dresden, Frankfurt – Fulda, Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn, Niddertalbahn, Mittenwaldbahn, Expert BR 101, and the BR 194/E94 railtour pack.
A handful of other releases and timetable expansions coming soon, with no exact dates yet, include Class 70 Freight Integration, Midland Mainline Timetable Overhaul, Southern Pacific Ore Lines, and Thames Valley Branches. Other add-ons that are still in development are listed below:
- Cargo Line Vol. 6 – Gas: The next logistical expansion from Skyhook Games.
- Southern Pacific Ore Lines (Hayden Branch): Set circa 1980, this 20-mile Arizona desert haul route features the SP EMD GP35 road-switcher, C30-4 bay-window caboose, and heavy ore-hauling gondolas.
- Tadami Line: Aizu Wakamatsu – Tadami: Japanese regional transit branch coming from the Union Workshop.
- BNSF Snoot Nose SD40-2: A fresh variant of heavy American diesel freight.
- Lisbon – Setúbal: Expanding Iberian rail networks into Portugal.
- Rhein-Niers-Bahn & Neckartalbahn: Multi-era German expansions featuring regional networks like Heidelberg to Neckarelz.
- Cumbrian Coast (Carlisle – Whitehaven): Further broadening regional British coastal diesel and freight operations.
- DB BR 420: Classic German electric multiple-unit (EMU) commuter stock.
