Ratata Arts and Game Source Entertainment have revealed the launch plans for their upcoming rhythm roguelike game Ratatan, which releases in its full 1.0 version next month on October 15. Preorders for the console versions of the game opened today, and we learned more details about what to expect in the full release.
Ratatan combines rhythm gameplay with side-scrolling action. Version 1.0 will introduce episodes 3 and 4, bringing a conclusion to the story and a battle against the final boss. All of the Dark Ratatan who have been introduced throughout Early Access will come together. In addition, the orchestral recording that the developers promised will become a reality.
There are two editions for Ratatan, and both offer a 10% discount for players who preorder before launch. The Standard Edition costs $34.99 before the discount and includes the game and an early purchase bonus of the “Spirit Sword Banbansord” weapon. The Deluxe Edition costs $39.99 and includes the game, the same early purchase bonus weapon, a special weapon and accessory pack, the Cobun pack, and a supplies set.

For those attending Tokyo Game Show this weekend, there will be demo strations that give away exclusive novelties and a limited edition Ratatan ID card.
