Today, Frontier Developments revealed Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East, a new downloadable content pack launching September 29, 2026, across all platforms.
Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East will introduce five new family units, East Asia-inspired scenery, holographic dinosaur statues, and new decorative options designed to give parks a distinct visual identity. We got a good first look at the first addition, the Nanshiungosaurs, alongside the announcement.
The Nanshiungosaurus is a gentle therizinosaur distinguished by its plumage, long neck, large tail, and recurved claws. The species also features notable differences between males and females, with males sporting a bushier tail and a brightly colored head feather that gives the dinosaur an especially distinctive appearance.

Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East also adds themed scenery inspired by East Asian architecture and design, allowing players to decorate their parks with bronze Dragon Statues, marble Guardian Lions, paper lanterns, new wall and roof pieces, and other architectural components. Premade blueprints are also available, letting users quickly build pagodas, gates, walled gardens, and other themed areas.
Holographic dinosaur statues are another new feature included in the expansion, allowing players to place animated holograms of iconic dinosaurs throughout their parks. Each holographic statue includes multiple dinosaur animations, providing additional ways to bring attractions, gardens, and guest areas to life.
Alongside the paid expansion, Frontier Developments will release for Jurassic World Evolution 3 Update 1.5 players on September 29, 2026. The free update introduces the new Walkway Attraction, allowing guests to walk above land, enclosures, and bodies of water, including lagoons and aviaries, while also bringing back Carcharodontosaurus as a complete family unit.
Since its release, Frontier Developments has continued to expand Jurassic World Evolution 3 through regular free updates and larger paid expansions, including Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast and Update 1.4. Crocodilia Coast back in August. Frontier is expected to reveal additional details about the remaining dinosaurs included in Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East in the lead-up to its release.
