Fatal Claw, a 2D Metroidvania featuring a cat resurrected by his ancestors, now has a confirmed release date. Com2uS Holdings announced that the game will leave Early Access next week and officially launch on August 26.
In Fatal Claw, developed by NDEV Games, you play as a mysterious cat named Kisha who was resurrected into a destroyed kingdom that has been revived by modern technology. In true Metroidvania fashion, there is a nonlinear network of zones to explore with plenty of obstacles and infected creatures to challenge. Kisha can unlock Mutated Abilities and Engraved Skills, both of which help her navigate and battle.
Along the way, players will meet a cast of colorful characters; they are survivors in the world who hold onto hope even though the world seems doomed. These characters, along with the background art designs, are hand-drawn in a beautiful high-quality cartoon style.
It’s up to the player to unravel the mysteries of the kingdom and learn the truth about why it was destroyed. Players must follow their values in order to reach one of the multiple endings.

Here’s what the Com2uS team has to say about the game leaving Early Access:
“Since entering Early Access on Steam in November last year, Fatal Claw has continuously expanded its world through major updates, introducing new areas while further enhancing exploration and progression. The 1.0 release will add even more new areas and content.”
You can head over to Steam to buy or wishlist Fatal Claw in anticipation of the full release on August 26.
