The long-awaited Pets DLC for House Flipper 2 finally has a set release date. Players will be able to experience the joy of adopting pets in the game when the DLC releases on December 3, 2026.
The Pets DLC was announced almost a year ago, and since then, we’ve learned quite a bit about what it will include. Players will be able to adopt animals that roam free (such as dogs, cats, and rabbits), live in terrariums and cages (such as hamsters, bearded dragons, frogs, and parrots), and reside in aquariums (such as a number of fish species). There will be over 40 different dog and cat breeds and over 30 different smaller pet species available. Each pet can be named and given a home, and they have unique personality traits that allow them to interact with their environments.
In addition to the animal species, this new DLC includes a new region called Pinnacove, 10 new jobs, 10 new houses, and hundreds of new items. Of course, many of these new items are essential to taking care of pets, such as crates, food dishes, litter boxes, cat trees, toys, and much more. The items range in themes from cozy to rustic to Mediterranean, giving players a variety of ways to decorate the new spaces.

Earlier this month, we learned in one of the House Flipper 2 devlogs about how the development team created and animated the 3D models for the dog and cat breeds. We also received news that House Flipper Remastered Collection will be getting a PS5 physical edition later this year.
House Flipper 2 Pets DLC will launch on December 3 on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
