Accu-Sim Lancair Legacy RG-550 for MSFS 2024 Gets New Screenshots
A2A Simulations released new screenshots of its Lancair Legacy RG-550, which is currently being beta tested.
This time around we get to see glass cockpit variants. It’s worth mentioning that they won’t be ready for the initial release, but they’ll be added afterward.
Incidentally, the developer mentions that they still hope to release the aircraft in time for the end of Q3, although the pssibility of a small delay exists.
Lanzarote Scenery Released for MSFS 2024
Island Creations released its Lanzarote scenery in the Canary Islands.
It’s available on Simmarket in Premium and Premium Plus versions for $17.33 and $21.18 respectively. The difference is in the resolution, with hgher reslution also being more demanding in terms of performance.
You can expect the following features.
1. Custom Ground Textures
- Realistic colors achieved through manual color correction, removing greenish tints.
- Sharper imagery with enhanced detail, from rock formations to shoreline structures.
- Completely cloud-free aerial imagery.
2. Upgraded Ports
- Hundreds of hand-placed vessels including motorboats, sailboats, yachts, catamarans, and ships across all ports on Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
- Fred Olsen Express ferry with night lighting in Playa Blanca.
- Cruise ships featuring landable helipads and night lighting.
- Container ship, containers and cranes in Arrecife.
3. Enhanced Night Lighting
- Ports, piers, and promenades illuminated for a realistic nighttime atmosphere.
- Hotels, pools, plazas, parks and sports facilities come alive at night.
4. Improved Vegetation
- Native vegetation added to urban and coastal areas, including palm trees.
- Adjusted vegetation to match aerial imagery, e.g. no trees in volcanic areas.
- Removed incorrect coastal trees.
5. Accurate Coastline
- Custom water masks align the ocean water with aerial imagery.
- Previously submerged features such as breakwaters, piers, sandbars, and islets now fully visible.
6. Other Improvements
- Arrecife Gran Hotel and animated lighthouses on Lanzarote and Alegranza.
- Removed warehouses in hotel zones.
- Removed misplaced buildings on fields, pools, and sports areas.
Muan Airport Announced for X-Plane 12
Fly2High announced Muan Airport (RKJB) in Korea for X-Plane 12.
It’s cominh “soon” and promises “custom GSE vehicles designed specifically for RKJB, full custom interiors, detailed ground textures, dynamic lighting, 3D grass and many more features.”
