Astragon Entertainment has announced that soon-to-release Bus Simulator 27 will include a cooperative multiplayer mode, a feature that was not present in the previous installment. Up to four players will be able to establish, expand, and manage a bus company together in Felicia Bay.
Players will be able to team up and operate the same route together or independently run different lines. They will also be able to take another player’s bus to help with tasks along the way, such as checking passenger tickets and managing employees.
Fortunately, Bus Simulator 27’s multiplayer will be cross-platform, so people can team up no matter if they are playing on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S. You can watch the new trailer that showcases multiplayer below.
Bus Simulator 27 will feature 45 buses from a total of 13 different manufactures, giving players a wide variety of choice to fit the needs of the route they take. For the first time, both city and coach buses will be available. The game takes place in the fictional region of Felicia Bay, which is based on the Iberian Peninsula, and has over 20 unique districts to explore, from scenic coastal roads to rugged mountain passes.
For those who are attending Gamescom this year, Bus Simulator 27 will have a playable demo that offers a first look at the game with a selection of city and intercity bus routes.
Bus Simulator 27 releases next month on September 8, 2026. You can pre-order it now on all of the platforms it will be available on: Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In addition to the Standard Edition, there is also a Year 1 Edition that features additional coaches and cosmetics. You can read all about the differences between editions on the game’s official website.
