Gran Turismo 7 will soon receive its August 2026 update, numbered 1.71, including new cars and more content.
The update will hit tomorrow, August 26, and an official news post from Polyphony Digital shared its content.
Of course, we’re getting four new cars: the Caterham Seven Superlight R500 ’08, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N ’25, the Toyota Chaser Tourer V ’97, and the Toyota Mark II Tourer V ’97.
We’re also getting three World Circuit events.
- Japanese FR Challenge 450
Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa - European Clubman Cup 600
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP Layout No Chicane - World Touring Car 600
Suzuka Circuit
Lastly, we’re getting a new curation in Scapes, dedicated to Whistler in British Columbia, Canada.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.

We also just saw the second round of the Gran Turismo 7 World Series in Tokyo, where Polyphony Digital and Mazda announced the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo. At then moment, we don’t yet know precisely when it’ll join the lineup, besides the fact that it’s going to be within this year.
