For the first time in the franchise, Bus Simulator 27 will include both city buses and coach buses, expanding the gameplay experience beyond traditional urban transit. Coach bus gameplay was previously introduced in a dedicated Coach Bus Journey showcase, which you can read about here.
Players building the public transport network in the new setting of Felicia Bay will have access to a wide variety of bus types, including diesel, electric, compressed natural gas (CNG), and hydrogen-powered vehicles. The fleet also spans multiple sizes, from compact buses designed for the narrow streets of Mequina and Alcaztelar to articulated and double-decker buses suited for high-capacity routes.

Bus Simulator 27 launches for Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 8, 2026, with pre-orders now available across all platforms. Anyone who pre-orders will receive the Deluxe Pack, which includes the HESS lightTram 12 Plug and Alexander Dennis Enviro 100EV, along with four exclusive bus skins.
In addition to the Standard Edition, a Year 1 Edition will be offered. It includes the Year 1 Season Pass, featuring the Mercedes-Benz Intouro coach bus, additional Bus Packs, Cosmetic Packs, and a major FlixBus Expansion, all scheduled to release throughout the game’s first year.
At some point soon, a Close Beta Test will take place, though signups have already closed. For more information on this and other upcoming simulators, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
