Bandai Namco released the third episode of Hour Zero, the live-action prequel series dedicated to Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
This episode shifts the timeline to the day of the attack and focuses on Expo City TV Broadcaster anchor Madison Haskell, played by Tamlyn Tomita. If you paid attention to Episode 2, you’ve already glimpsed her in action.
This episode is certainly interesting as it doesn’t just ramp up the drama, but it also includes some hints to the possibility that not everything is as it seems, although it’s hard to know for sure, and we’ll have to play the game to learn more about what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Incidentally, you can also watch Episode 1, while we wait for the epilogue, which will be aired on September 29.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will release on October 2, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, following the announcement from a few months ago. It’s the latest installment of the popular Ace Combat franchise, which culminated a few years ago with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which has broken all sales records for the series by shipping over 7 million units, after a period in which it remained dormant.
