Today, Bandai Namco released the epilogue of the Zero Hour live-action prequel series to Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
This time around, the video ties up the plotlines of the three previous episodes, explaining the relationship between the characters we have seen before.
It’s also interesting because it hints that the war against Sotoa may be a just war, despite the fact that episode three casts some doubt on that.
We’ll have to play the game to know the truth, but one thing is for sure, not only is this series quite awesome and punches above its weight, much unlike similar projects for other games, but if it doesn’t get you ready to fly and flght for the people of Central Usea, nothing will.
You can watch it below.
In case you missed them, you should check out Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3 of Hour Zero.
Incidentally, we also got the launch trailer just in time for release.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will release on October 2, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, following the announcement from a few months ago. If you want to see more, you can check out a developer diary, an action-packed trailer, an extensive gameplay reveal, the characters, plenty more gameplay, a look at some of the fighters included in the game, the multiplayer, the story, and the features.
You can also watch the first fifteen minutes of the game.
