The gaming industry has delivered some more gaming news today, including headlines about Bus Simulator 27, triMIno, and Phasmophobia.

Here at Simulation Daily, we publish roundups with more gaming news that couldn’t be covered in individual articles to keep you up to date with the work and games from a wider variety of developers than we otherwise could.

Take a look at some of the headlines from today’s news.

Domino Tile Matching Meets Roguelike Deck Building in triMIno

DavideJ and Noovola Publishing have revealed their game triMIno, which combines Domino-style tile matching with roguelike deck building.

triMIno starts with players opening booster packs and drafting tiles into their very own deck. The goal is to match colors and shapes, then connect long chains on a board to achieve a high score. There are multiple tile shapes, powerful modifiers, and stackable multipliers that can come into play at any time, but because the board has limited space, players must be strategic in their tile placements.

You can watch the reveal trailer for triMIno below. The game is planned to release on Steam in 2027.

Bus Simulator 27 Gets Free BYD Bus Pack Next Week

Simteract and Astragon Entertainment have shared that a free BYD Bus Pack will soon be headed to Bus Simulator 27. Players can download the free pack starting on November 12.

The BYD Bus Pack includes two new buses for players’ bus fleets. It comes as a thank-you gift from the developers for players’ ongoing support.

Phasmophobia Community Raises Over $230k for American Heart Association

Kinetic Games has announced that the Phasmophobia community raised over $230,000 for the American Heart Association through its annual Ghost Hunts for Hearts event. This doubles the total amount earned during last year’s event.

The Ghost Hunts for Hearts event took place from October 26 to November 2, and over 500 streamers participated in the fundraising. The goal was to raise $200,000 during the fundraising campaign, and as a reward for passing the milestone, the community unlocked an animated version of the Advocate ID Card and Badge set for all Phasmophobia players.

Here’s what Tom Dent, lead social media and player experience manager at Kinetic Games, has to say about the event’s success:

“The Phasmophobia community never fails to amaze us, and this year they’ve outdone themselves. Doubling last year’s total and seeing more than 500 streamers come together for a cause that matters is incredible. Thank you to every streamer, viewer and player who took part, and to our friends at Heart Liive for helping make it happen.”

You can see what the Advocate ID Card that players unlocked looks like below.
