To learn more about the game and what makes it special compared to Transport Fever 2 and the rest of the genre, Simulation Daily talked to Urban Games Publishing Manager Nicolas Heini at Tokyo Game Show 2025.

Nicolas had plenty of insight to share, including some of the new features that we can expect, why making bigger maps isn’t a trivial task, and gameplay elements like the expansion of the tycoon simulation part and boosters.

There’s plenty more, so without further ado, we leave you with the interview, which you can find in the video below.

As usual, leaving a like and a comment, and subscribing to our growing YouTube channel is extremely helpful.

Transport Fever 3 is the successor of the popular transport tycoon simulator Transport Fever 2.

It was announced back in May by Urban Games, and it brings plenty of new features to the franchise. It’ll release in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

If you’d like to see more, you can check out some of Transport Fever 3’s highly detailed vehicles,  the game’s map generation, terrain types, and more.

If you’d like to hear more from Tokyo Game Show 2025, you can enjoy our interview with Final Fantasy VII Remake series Director Naoki Hamaguchi.

We also heard from Final Fantasy XIV Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, and Director Yuya Tokuda about the collaboration between their games.
