Today, Incredible Trains announced the official release date for its Train Sim World 6: Thames Valley Branches, which is set to launch on July 21, 2026.
Originally revealed in the May roadmap, Train Sim World 6: Thames Valley Branches introduces three separate, unconnected branch lines off the Great Western Main Line, each offering its own driving style, scenery, and operational challenges:
- Windsor Branch – Running between Slough and Windsor & Eton Central, this commuter route focuses on quick turnaround services with Windsor Castle just a short walk from the terminus.
- Marlow Branch – Departing from Maidenhead, drivers must perform a turnback maneuver at Bourne End before continuing to Marlow. The route also introduces Train Sim World’s first railway token system.
- Henley Branch – Starting at Twyford, this scenic line passes through Wargrave and Shiplake before reaching Henley-on-Thames, home of the famous Royal Regatta.
Although the three branches are not directly connected, players can switch between them using Fast Travel. Owners of Great Western Express can also use route hopping via the Great Western Main Line.

Train Sim World 6: Thames Valley Branches also includes the two-car Class 165 Turbo Networker, featuring a unique interior and exterior compared with the Class 166, along with Livery Designer support, enhanced physics, additional cab functionality and improved night lighting.
Development has focused on performance optimization and environmental improvements. The add-on includes seasonal crop changes, reactive wildlife, animated river traffic, enhanced autumn foliage and more detailed British roadside scenery, while the Class 165 has received refinements to its systems and cab.
Train Sim World 6: Thames Valley: Windsor, Henley & Marlow Branch Lines will be available for $17.99 at release. For more information on this and other add-ons coming this month, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
