Airbus A330neo by LatinVFR for MSFS Releases Big V2 Update Including Native MSFS 2024 Model

Microsoft Flight Simulator LatinVFR A330neo

LatinVFR released version 2 of its Airbus A330neo, and it can be downloaded from the official marketplace and all the stores where the aircraft is available.

The update, which increases the depth of the simulation and brings forth an MSFS 2024-native model, includes the following.

  • Authentic classic MCDU — physical-key dual MCDU matching the real A330-900 (Delta FCOM Vol. 2, 34.6), each side fully independent, plus a third reference MCDU
  • Deep flight planning — SEC F-PLN (with procedures & airways), HOLD, DIR TO, FIX INFO, STEP ALTS, RTA, CMS, and full WIND pages
  • One-click SimBrief — OFP import and AOC flight-plan uplink straight from the MCDU
  • FCOM-accurate displays — PFD, ND, and ECAM built to real system logic, not simplified placeholders
  • Full ECAM system suite — ENG, FUEL, HYD, ELEC, COND, DOOR, WHEEL, BLEED, F/CTL, and more, all live
  • Deep system autoflight — complete AP/FD and autothrottle mode set with true detent-based thrust management (CL/MCT/FLEX/TOGA), plus AUTOLAND glareshield annunciation
  • Modeled aircraft systems — real fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and pressurization logic, with a staged avionics power-up, true IRS alignment, and a two-node calibrated brake thermal model
  • Deep systems realism — simulated GNSS jamming/spoofing with real RNP/ANP navigation accuracy
  • Runway & traffic safety — TCAS with FCOM-accurate inhibits, ROW/ROP runway overrun protection, and ATSAW online traffic awareness (VATSIM and real world online traffic)
  • Full ATC datalink — Hoppie ACARS with PDC and Oceanic Clearance auto-fill, plus a dedicated DCDU
  • Feature-rich EFB — SimBrief & Navigraph integration, interactive checklists, live weather, weight & balance, landing performance tools, and full ground services (GPU, wheel chocks, ground air, jetway)
  • Crew-selectable units — switch between KG/LB and M/FT, with automatic QNH/hPa switching
  • Authentic cockpit sound — real aural warnings, switch and detent clicks, and ambient cockpit audio
  • New exterior & ambient audio — positioned APU, brake fan, rain, ground-roll and altitude turbulence beds
  • FS2024 Dynamic weathering — ice builds on the wing and slat leading edges and the engine inlets as you accumulate it, snow settles on the airframe while parked below freezing and melts as it warms, and runway grime, fluid staining and tyre wear accumulate across flights
  • FS2024 Windshield rain & wipers — raindrops collect on the glass in wet weather, and the wipers sweep their real swept path, seen from inside and out
  • FS2024 Visible passengers and matching payload in the weight and balance
  • FS2024 Real-time CFD — the FS2024 computational-fluid-dynamics solver runs on the airframe at raised grid resolution and feeds back into the flight model
  • FS2024 Ground equipment — engine, pitot and static covers, landing gear pins and wheel chocks fitted on a cold stand and removed individually, with a remove-before-flight check on the EFB that warns you if engines are started with anything still on the airframe

It’s available on Simmarket for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 for $16.42.

  • Taxiways, parking areas, and ground markings
  • Ground textures, hangars, buildings, and technical facilities
  • Static aircraft and helicopters: Canadair CL-415, Dash 8, and EC145
  • Animations: characters, flags, and wind socks that react to real-world wind
  • Full night lighting: runway, taxiways, and ambient
