Today, Aerosoft and Z-Software have announced Autobahn Police Simulator 4 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a 2026 release planned.
Autobahn Police Simulator 4 introduces a fully drivable open world, letting you patrol unrestricted stretches of Autobahn, winding country roads, industrial districts, residential neighborhoods, and small towns set among forests and mountains.
Players will patrol the roads, respond to radio calls, conduct traffic stops, inspect documents and vehicles, secure accident scenes, and pursue suspects who refuse to stop. Routine calls can escalate into more serious incidents, challenging you to react quickly and follow proper procedures.

Completing successful patrols builds your reputation within the force, letting you climb the ranks and unlock new vehicles, equipment, and police stations. You’ll use standard patrol cars and unmarked vehicles for discreet operations, while special operations and optional side missions add even more variety beyond regular patrols.
The open world brings together highways, rest stops, petrol stations, rural roads, neighborhoods, industrial zones, and towns for a more varied take on German police work. Overhauled visuals and diverse environments aim to give patrols, emergency responses, and high-speed pursuits a greater sense of atmosphere.
Autobahn Police Simulator 4 builds on the series’ career progression, adding multiple police stations, a larger open world, and more freedom in how you respond to radio calls. The game is planned for both digital and physical release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and pricing, the exact release date, system requirements, age ratings, and additional language details will be announced later.
