Today, Galago Group and EdCorp announced Tiny Harbor, a cozy idle fishing management game coming to Steam. A demo was also released today for players to try out the game.
In Tiny Harbor, players take on the role of Sidney, who, with her cat Captain Sally, must leave the busy city life behind and return to her childhood summer home of a seaside harbor. The harbor starts out with just a single dock and a fishing boat, and players can slowly build the coast up into a thriving fishing village. Players can send out boats to sea in order to bring home fish, discover new species, and unlock upgrades.
Players have control over the pace of their experience. The game can be as active or relaxed as they choose, with options to complete tasks with high levels of efficiency or simply automate them. Tiny Harbor can even be left running idly on the side of the player’s screen, and they can come back to the game to see what has changed during their time away. The developers emphasize that there is no rush and no pressure; players can just enjoy their place by the sea and watch it grow each day.
Here’s what Adam Vassée, operational leader of Galago Group, has to say about the game:
“We built Tiny Harbor for when life can feel pretty busy. We wanted to create this little cozy place you can escape to for a while, something that gives you energy rather than asks for it. It’s a game where you sit down for a few minutes, get lost in the world and suddenly realize you’ve completely lost track of time.
We’re really excited for people to discover that feeling for themselves with the demo.”

A demo for Tiny Harbor was released today alongside the announcement, which you can check out right here on Steam. Beyond the demo, there is no release date or window for the full game quite yet.
