Misc Games has just revealed that a major update will be coming to its sea simulator Ships at Sea this November. We’ve detailed a quick summary of the new introductions coming in November and how you’ll be able to unlock them right down below:

  • Purse Seining – Known for its efficiency and effectiveness in catching large schools of fish, purse seining will be a valuable rigging in your fishing arsenal. Whether you’re targeting mackerel or the new fish species, herring, we are introducing, this technique is sure to bring in impressive hauls.
  • Longlining – Introducing a new longline hauler, from our license partner Lorentzen Hydraulikk, which will make your longlining process smoother and more efficient than ever before.
  • Senior Certificate – To unlock this powerful vessel, you’ll need to obtain the Senior Certificate. Once you have it, the seas are yours to command with this vintage workhorse. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or looking to expand your fleet with friends in co-op, the tier 3 fishing vessel offers the perfect blend of nostalgia and modern fishing capabilities.

Ships at Sea is available now on Steam for PC players, starting at a price point of $24.99. In other simulation news, America Truck Simulator just dropped a bunch of info on their latest update and Microsoft Flight Simulator fixed one of its most problematic locations.
