Misc Games has just revealed that a major update will be coming to its sea simulator Ships at Sea this November. In a blog post called “Unveiling the big one,” the developers gave their captains a sneak peek at what is to come, including a classic vessel from the 1950s that is approximately 19 meters long and is crafted for an ideal fishing experience.

- Purse Seining – Known for its efficiency and effectiveness in catching large schools of fish, purse seining will be a valuable rigging in your fishing arsenal. Whether you’re targeting mackerel or the new fish species, herring, we are introducing, this technique is sure to bring in impressive hauls.
- Longlining – Introducing a new longline hauler, from our license partner Lorentzen Hydraulikk, which will make your longlining process smoother and more efficient than ever before.
- Senior Certificate – To unlock this powerful vessel, you’ll need to obtain the Senior Certificate. Once you have it, the seas are yours to command with this vintage workhorse. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or looking to expand your fleet with friends in co-op, the tier 3 fishing vessel offers the perfect blend of nostalgia and modern fishing capabilities.
