Frontier Developments revealed that Jurassic World Evolution 3, its dinosaur park management simulator, is getting a massive Rebirth Expansion in one week alonside the free Update 1.3.
Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth Expansion is adding a plethora of content that features things from Jurassic World Rebirth, particularly things from before the events of the movie.
This new content includes four dinosaurs: Distortus rex, Mutadon, Titanosaurus, and Aquilops. The Distortus rex is a highly aggressive dinosaur, and it has its own unique kill animation. The Mutadon combines the cunning mind of Veolciraptors with the wings of the Pterosaur to create a challenging dinosaur to contain.
The Titanosaurus is a massive colossus of a dinosaur that’s coming with its whole family unit. The Aquilops is an adorable herbivore that goes from four legs to two.
There’s also a new campaign to follow that features the secret facility on Île Saint-Hubert. Players will manage Assignments, a new way to progress the campaign’s story. Depending on what Assignments are completed, players can progress various things, like story content, traits, research opportunities, and more.
Additionally, there are 35 blueprints of authentic scenery pieces from Île Saint-Hubert. These include geothermal piping, structural gantries, and buildings, like the Qualtech Gas Station. Players will be able to create Mayan architecture as well, giving their park a more natural feel.
Some of the new features coming include geothermal power, which lets players build and manage underground pipes to power facilities with geothermal energy. Open-air aviaries are also included, which lets players create aviaries with no visual obstructions.

Additionally, the free Update 1.3 is also launching alongside the Rebirth Expansion.
This will include new Tyrannosaurus Rex swimming behaviors, custom perch points in aviarias (along with several improvements to them), flying and navigation improvements for the Pterosaur, a handheld flare, new drone additions, and more quality of life changes.
It also includes the Cearadactylus from Jurassic World Evolution 2.
