Palworld is coming to iOS and Android later this year as an open-world MMORPG called Palworld Online. The news comes from Garena, a publisher and developer based in Singapore who will be working on the game alongside Pocketpair.
Palworld Online aims to bring the freedom and scale of the PC game to mobile with a new narrative setting and original story. In this survival crafting monster-collecting game, players will be able to explore a vast open world with their Pals with exclusive side stories created specifically for this version.
With collaborative play in mind, Palworld Online allows players to team up to build settlements and participate in both cooperative and competitive activities, such as PvE and PvP encounters and matches. Like in the original game, Pals can be captured and used to automate building and protecting the settlements.
Garena noted that Palworld Online will be specially optimized for a mobile experience, with one-tap touch controls to make gameplay accessible on handheld devices.
Here’s what Terry Zhao, President at Garena, has to say about bringing Palworld to mobile:
“Palworld is a widely recognized IP, and we see an opportunity to bring the essence of the PC title to mobile in a way that encourages players to connect and venture together. Working closely with Pocketpair, we are focused on preserving the depth, immersion, and freedom that define Palworld, while thoughtfully optimising the experience for mobile play.”
Currently, there is no set release date for Palworld Online, but Garena states that it is scheduled to be available in 2026, with more details to be unveiled at a later date.
In other Palworld news, the official 1.0 version launched last month, adding 47 new Pals and 25 variant Pals, new areas to explore, and much more. The game reached an impressive 40 million player milestone just days before the big launch.
