To start, the production system in Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas introduces new chains focused on coffee, bananas, alpacas, and building materials, giving players more ways to convert their agricultural resources into finished products. The expansion also includes new construction projects on the Catuaí map, along with a dinosaur bone-collecting activity that introduces an objective beyond farming.

Coffee is one of the expansion’s major production lines, starting with Coffee Cherries, which can be processed at the Coffee Processing Plant into Coffee Bags, Packed Coffee, Roasted Coffee, Coffee Capsules, and Coffee Beverage. Players can also use coffee in other products such as Coffee Yogurt and Tiramisu through the Roastery, Coffee Shop, Dairy, and Bakery.

Bananas also involve another interconnected series of processes in which the harvested bananas first go to the Banana Washing Station and are then packed into Banana Boxes. From there they can be turned into Banana Snacks, Banana Milk, Fried Banana, Banana Jam, Banana Cake, and Banana Chips, the various stages of production being carried out by the Canning Factory, the Banana Drying Station, the Dairy, and the Bakery.

With the expansion, alpacas are being introduced as a new kind of animal and they will yield Alpaca Fleece, which can be processed at the Spinnery to produce Alpaca Wool. The Tailor Shop can then use this wool to make Alpaca Plush, Alpaca Pillows and Alpaca Socks, while the Carpentry can produce furniture items such as the Alpaca Chair and Alpaca Stool.

Farming Simulator 25: also features a new material production chain which involves Copper Ore, Resin and Pigments. Resin is made at the Sawmill and the Pigments are obtained from the Pigment Factory. The two materials are then used in the process of producing Paint in order to create Paint Buckets that can be taken to certain houses in Catuaí for repainting jobs.

A new project will also be available on the outskirts of Catuaí: a research station surrounded by rainforest and featuring regional wooden architecture with thatched roofing. Once completed, players can visit the station to learn about local trees, bushes, sugarcane, coffee, alpacas, traditional instruments, and other regional features.

Dinosaur bones are also concealed throughout Catuaí, and players can find them as they work on their fields. Once players collect the bones, they are displayed in the local museum’s skeleton exhibit, and once the skeleton is complete, they earn a special wearable reward.

Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas offers players more ways to develop the Catuaí area through extended production chains, new animal products, construction projects, and collectible activities, while also letting them create new products and grow their agricultural businesses.

Farming Simulator 25 is currently available on PC (Steam), Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas is scheduled to launch on October 27, 2026, as either a standalone expansion or as part of an edition that includes the base game. Pre-orders are available through selected channels, and the expansion is also included in the Year 2 Season Pass, which offers savings of up to 30 percent compared with purchasing the included content separately.
